Agressive Perry pikemen conversions
« on: March 23, 2013, 07:27:31 PM »
Decided to experiment and try to make some attacking pikemen from the Perry WOTR plastics. The arms are the pike arms, cut and wiggled into place. Example:

After a while, i managed to build 10 of these fellows to add to some militia i had to form the heart of a lowlands militia band.

I hope they'll inspire people, whether for the 15th century, Renaissance or even a Song of Fire and Ice. You could use the same idea with bills or halberds (as i will for some Poorters, the richer citizens).

Right, just need to paint them!   :-I

The poses look very convincing - great work and yet more new options from these versatile figures!

I will shamelessly copy this idea for my Westerosi bannermen. Coincidentally I bought another pack recently so I have a new mini-project for the summer... Thanks for sharing! :D

Other than the bases, they are now ready to join the rest of the militia and fight the invaders.
