Not too sure. Might be a touch on the big side compared to old Foundry but really not sure how more recent Foundry stuff would measure up.

Thanks for the comments everyone, always appreciated.  :)

Should be OK then as the Foundry range is quite old- thankfully as their newer stuff is bloomin' 'orrible!

May well have to order some of these when they are available.

Any idea who the sculptor may be?

Darrell.

They look a bit like Soapy's work to me...same sort of hands, same sort of cloth sculpting...

I finished the command models during the week so here's a group shot of everything.

I added the flag myself and took quite a bit of artistic licence with the design. Bit of a cheat too as I used a decal.  ;)

I'll add more images to my web site when I get the chance.

Oh, and here's a quick size comparison with an old Foundry model. A little chunkier and taller but would probably sit ok on the same table top.

Great looking minis and great painting!!  :-*

I like the leader's pose a lot.

Very nice looking figures, very nicely painted. Looking at that size comparison with the foundry figure it suggests they would be compatible with the Empress Jazz Age afghans. Although the musket carrying troops would not work for the 3rd Afghan War the Knife men and command would fit, especially with a couple of hands chopped off and replaced with Webleys and Lugers.

I want a set to splash with color, nothing like some very fine casted, clean detailed figures to work with once in a while. Your painting is nicely done with a great choice of colors.
