I just posted some pictures of the finished 2nd Platoon, 5th Company "Helsinge Company", 2nd Batallion, Nyland Infantry regiment for my Finnish War 1808-1809 project.

Just got some Dewland Mud and are ready for a hightlight...

The all out Swedish hero during the Finnish War must have been George Carl von Döbeln, of course we have few more aspire to the title, like J.A. Sandels.

For me von Döbeln is a perfect character as he was in command of the Nyland Regiment during the first 3-4 month of the war.

Here comes some pictures of my build of von Döbeln, you can find pictured of the painted mini i and a short re-cap of von Döbelns history at my blog.

and the Drawing by Albert Edelfelt that inspired me.

Of course ther will be a Sven Dufva lookalike, but in Nyland Infantry or Jaeger uniform.

Well some say that the 'real' Dufva actually was Johan Zacharias Bång from Lohja (Lojo) [Swedish wikipage has wrong birth place for him]:
