The Fuzz(Lily Poots Maclachlan 21/4)
« on: 30 March 2013, 11:58:25 AM »
As a wee break from a couple of other on going projects, I've finally decided to get my 7TV Police officers finished. I just got The Beat Programme guide so I want my boys in blue ready!

First up is Sergeant Tunnock...

I'm still trying to find transfers to change the writing on the side of the Meat Wagon. I got some from Company B, but they're tiny!

Nice work, mate.
Bloody superb blue/black uniform.
 :-*

I have only painted one copper so far and his uniform gave me a headache.
Whats your recipe?

Sorry, mate. I really thought they would work.

To be honest, though, I think the Maria looks just fine as it is.

Very nice. I like the van. I have one of the mini vans - light blue and white.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Nae worries Mason, the transfers from company were used elsewhere on the van. I finally found something for it. Straight from eBay. A quick search for 5mm decal letters brought up this...

Sorry for the angle of the pic!! I've done a couple of other coppers as well...

Nice work, mate.
Those decals look like just the job.

Looks like your rozzers are chasing some villains over the local bombsites.
Plenty of those in the 70's and 80's (where I grew up at any rate).
Perfect!!

Nicely done. The flashlight in particular is great.

I've just got a couple of wee extras done for this.

First up I'd like to apologise to all the Dr Who fans out there! This model might be a wee bit sacrilegious!! ;)

I had him sitting about and I needed characters for my police. It's a cracking model and I didn't want to waste it on the lead pile!!

Nexts just another bobby...

And the cast so far....

Superb work, really love the coppers and the van is excellent. Anyone do an aging Martin Shaw AKA Inspector George Gently figure?
