Working on Deep Wars Terrain
« on: April 10, 2013, 11:31:21 PM »
Not sure which forum Deep Wars fits in to be honest but Antimatter seem to have posted a lot in here.
Please let me know if it belongs in Fantasy or somewhere else.

I have started work on my Deep Wars underwater board.
A 4' x 4' sea floor.

Pics and full details on my blog here - http://pressganger.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/wip-deep-wars-underwater-sea-floor.html

Looks promising - so many colours at the moment that need to be blended down a touch.

Definitely keeping an eye on this project (and not just to see how the Kraken turns out).

That didn't go down well with the mighty Galley Wench. I loved it, she loved it, there were only 8 left and she had been saving a few pennies.

 :o Damn, a KEEPER!

I've also been tempted by the fig, and am disappointed that it's so close to out-of-stock. Oh, well...

You know? The shocking colors are just that, but, in shallows, UV penetrates the best, and things can look a little day-glo. Not a diver, so haven't had a lot of experience, mind you.

Of course, these are DEEP Wars...

Most kewl; the line feels a little Pulp to me, but seems to inspire on this board just fine, so keep us informed.

Sorry it took so long to reply here.

Most of the plants and such are going to be washed to try and mute the colours a little and blend them all together.

A keeper indeed! She even had my own character made up once for and by my favourite game.
I will update with anything I do. The next plan is to build and review the entire range on my blog.
