Studio Miniatures Painted Zombies - Updated 08/06/2014
« on: 13 April 2013, 04:36:49 PM »
Just finished painting up some of Studio Miniatures plastic zombies.

Pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Just in the process of converting one into a cop at the moment.  o_o

The striped jumper is very nice indeed, fairly sure a guy at work has the exact same one! Very interested in seeing your cop conversion as I did something similar on one of my own. Pictures please!!!

Thanks guys, they were fun to paint,

The striped jumper is very nice indeed, fairly sure a guy at work has the exact same one! Very interested in seeing your cop conversion as I did something similar on one of my own. Pictures please!!!

Have to admit I literally googled patterned V Neck jumper and picked the pattern from the results! maybe it is his jumper!  lol

I'm going to undercoat and paint my cop conversion tomorrow, I'm pretty pleased with how it has turned out, just hope I don't balls it up when I apply paint.  :?

Finished my conversion of the Studio Miniatures shirt and tie plastic zombie into an American style county sheriff looking figure.

I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, sculpted a hip holster on (pistol grip could have done with being bigger but its no biggy) and sculpted on a radio, and mic.

I also converted another of the figures so that he is wearing body armour, I'm planning on painting him up like a turned TV or Press person. More on that tomorrow if I have time.

Thanks for looking.

Really nice figures. You're really showing the customizing possibilities of this zombies set. :-* really inspiring.

I'll soon post my own studio miniatures zeds, I hope I'll do as good as you !

Nice work and you've made them look quite unique with your choice of colours/uniforms.

All of them are great, thanks for sharing.  As others stated, I particularly like the striped shirt, and the free hand EMT is also well done.  Keep sharing!

Thanks all, they were fun to paint, I liked the challenge of trying to make the limited choice of bodies look different. more to follow.

Just finished this modification of another Studio Miniatures plastic.

I like how it came out, although I made some stupid errors in sculpting the body armour which even I could have avoided. All in all though I quite like it (my writing of TV on the front is not as crisp as I would like though)

Cheers
