Looking for suggestions for possible opponents for the Britanan minis from Tor Gaming.

http://store.torgaming.co.uk/Britanan_Troopers_p/tgrb1.htm

Could not resist these little fellas and I have an idea of how I want to use them in Dr the Viking's game-in-a-box challenge, but was wondering what is out there that would look good with their rather Tim Burton kind of look.

Any ideas?

Ooooookkkaaaaaaayyyyy...   >:D  :o

Talk about off the wall outside the box twisted thinking...   ::)

The whole series of factions is unspeakably attracting (not attractive, attracting) in a delightfully bizarre way.

Not that I would buy any (well, maybe the Brittans (spelling) in a pinch,) but if I had infinite room and infinite funds I might get a few just to weird out adventurers or opponents on occasion.   o_o

I bow to your ability to see beyond the weirdness to the usefulness of these figures.   lol   8)

Gracias,

Glenn

Occulites & Luftles :
http://www.darwin-games.com.au/store_dawn.html

Or Four A Miniatures' Death Cherubs- wings are a separate piece and thus easy to leave off- or some other smaller creatures from them (paleskin, cyclopes, gremlins, sea demons types all are fairly short)

Heresy's familiars:
http://heresyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10_45&products_id=118

Bend Sinister- feathered pygmies
http://www.bendsinister.co.uk/shop.php?CatID=3

and some zombie pygmies:

Some of Black Hat's War Haggises

and/ or

some of the old Hobby Products Demonworld (now Ral Partha) Torgogs
http://www.ralparthaeurope.co.uk/shop/4212-torgogs-8-p-2623.html

as monsters/ warbeasts

Ammon has a Gobbo Napoleon sitting on a rocking horse
http://ammon-miniatures.com/store/gobleon-infos/?lang=en

CP Models have an Orc on some sort of toy horse

 Wyrd's Puppet Wars
http://www.puppet-wars.com/gallery.php

For the Four A/ Heresy/ Bend Sinister/ Conquest Miniatures stuff the toy look would depend a bit on how you paint them (or possibly what bits you add e.g. plastic card wind up keys) . Hope there's at least some useful bits here and there, seeing most of the minis aren't meant to depict toys

Eureka teddy bears...?

A good option, but maybe too 'nice'.

 :o :o :o

HUGE LIST OF POSSIBLES!

 :o :o :o

Thank you VERY much for taking the time to compile the list, with links too!
Much appreciated.

I can see a lot of possibilities there, especially those pygmies and some of the bits from Ammon are likely purchases, even if not for this.
 :D

Thank you all very much!

You're welcome (or like we say over here in Berlin: Jern jeschehn)! As I'm quite curious on how this project will develop, it seemed like the sensible thing to do.

Greebo has some little treemen (strictly speaking they're markers for fantasy football), but they just might fit in here as well:

Scarecrows would be a good choice also

http://www.rapierminiatures.co.uk/page/Range/28mm_Fantasy.html

They would indeed!
Nice one.

Considering I have not long ago added some Scarecrows to my Strange Aeons project I am surprised that I didnt think of that myself......DOH!

So now I am torn between pygmies and Scarecrows.....
