Avast! Sailpower 2.0 Rules and 15mm Vessels Kickstarter

Not sure why this hasn't been posted here yet, but there's a little over a week to go on the Sailpower, version 2.0 Kickstarter, so if you are into age of sail games, and/or want some nice, 15mm vessels and rules to do a little pirating with, it's definitely worth checking out:

I'm not affiliated in any way with the owner, but I do have a copy of his first rules release, which I think is quite good.

I've also been coveting some of his nice sloops, and other vessels for some time now.  From pics I've seen, they look very attractive, and are a nice scale to let you and your mates do a little adventuring on the tabletop.

The rules can be used with vessels from the heyday of the pirate era up through the Napoleonic period.

In version 2.0, they are adding some new rules to permit some other options besides just straight gunnery, or boarding action battles, e.g. hunting for treasure, and doing a bit of merchant trading as well, if you want to try your hand at an honest day's work.

Not sure why any self-respecting pirate would even consider that, but the option is there, should you choose it. 

More merchant traders to attack on de 'igh seas, I say!

I've been watching this propreitor for some time, and expect he will deliver the goods, since he's been designing, casting, and selling vessels for years now, and runs regular games back in the Ohio area.

I hope you'll consider backing his efforts.
