Got the PDF of the original rules.

Read them, and find some concepts and rules mechanics original, simple, and apparently fun, but never really get to play them.

Note that the rules per se are about 2-3 pages long iirc!

The rest of the book is full with background, scenarios and the faction lists (about 6 or 7 different iirc).

Now, I don't say this is a bad thing, as simple "no arguments" rules can be really refreshing for quick games, and this particular rules seem very suited for that.

The backgroud and short stories actually made me laugh, and some scenarios included in the rulebook seem like a lot of fun (one involving a giant mutant chicken).

But no, I never actually played the game.

Maybe we should give this a try.

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

I've played a few times, including a game the designer ran at Gnomecon last year.   They are very light and not mean to be super serious.   Each faction has abilities/powers that are B Movie appropriate, and the game is fun.
