What miniatures for Visitors?
« on: 26 April 2013, 06:32:08 PM »
He,
many of you, surely, will remember the TV series of Visitors.
What 28 mm miniatures may I use to represent them?

Many thanks.

For these the Crooked Dice Time Lift Security would work nicely with the right paintjob:

To give you a better idea of what that would look like, someone has already done this.

SLAP miniatures have two generic sci-fi troops on the go that are similar enough to the helmeted troopers to be usable. They should be released soon as they are nearly finished, I can ask the owner if it's ok to share images if you like?

Many thanks, but these seem to me quite similar to Spacetroopers of Copplestone, easier to find because they are also produces in Italy by Mirliton.

I tend to disagree about the likeness...

I think he's referring to the "Paramilitary" figures (Name on the EM-4 page):

These are what I had in mind, but I never really got my butt up to actually do a couple of Visitors for my Street Violence collection. May have to reconsider, though.

Yes, You are right!

But even the regular Infantry, ie those with the helmet, they may be good as a proxy:
