They seem to have a lot of SIKU stuff in the Danish stores as well - but I'll have to go there, as no scales are referred in the Danish webstore  :?

Luckily, we have a large Toys'r'Us in Odense, only 15 min away.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Siku is 1/55 generally for cars and for most of the trucks.
Some trucks are 1/50 and there is a agricultural range of 1/32 and another of H0 scale in 1/87.
The scale is always visible on the box.

On my Scavenge Skirmish Survive 'vehicles' page I've got images and scales of whole load of vehicles by Siku and others. Towards the bottom of the page.

This would be cool in a scale fitting 28 mm

This is rather 1/87 and the rocket is totally out of scale...  ::)

Niiiiiice. There's a lot to like there, but I think my favourite thing is the tyres not being all a uniform size. That really gives it the scavenged look.
All the same tyres just looks wrong.  By adding a few variations it looks much better, although arranging them in a "random" pattern takes a while.

Love it, Please Bring it to BLAM for a game! ;D
Possbily.  ::)  I need to do more for a decent game and currently can't be sure I will have the time to do so.

Have been to Toys'R'Us last Saturday and discovered the SIKU-range of diecast models, many of them in 1/50 or 1/55 scale! Among them a fine yellow schoolbus like the one shown here in 1/55 scale. The link shows 3 pics and a hand for scale comparison, it looks pretty nice to me:

A good find, although it seems slightly smaller and with a few different details.

A minor update as I rush to complete the last few bits to beat the deadline.

Old Copplestone Grenadier sculpts and a dodgy wip sculpt of my own:

This will be the driver for the next buggy:

Converted by replacing his right hand holding a pistol with one pointing. Added a bow to his left hand and replaced a sheathed shotgun on his back as a quiver for the bow:

Minor conversions to change their firearms for crossbows:

Now a few days of painting ahead....

Those smaller grenadier sculpts will work well with/inside the slightly smaller vehicles. That's a very tidy conversion of the veteran wastelander. 8) 8)

Cheers
Matt.

Well the "few days" turned into 9 months... :?

No2 is a straight paint, whilst the other 3 have had minor modifications:

2 central miniatures newly painted, with the others just rebased:

Painted driver for the next buggy:

I've nearly finished the next buggy, so more to follow soon.  :)
