Courtesy of the new "loose lips sink shops" policy, these have not been much touted anywhere AFAIK before now when they've become available not only for preorder but for actual shipping!

They look decent in the pic and not overtly expensive (you can get 3 for the price of, say, 2 Zebus from Antenociti) but I think I'll wait for [1] an independent review and [2] retailer availability.

Pardon my scepticism but does 'ready to ship' actually mean ready to ship where Defiance games are concerned?

Two resin vehicles for $29-99, that look like that and (from the pix) have good quality is a very nice price... but it is very difficult to ignore the reputation of the company.

I'll be waiting for a review before I even consider buying anything from Defiance... but these do look excellent value and are a nice design.

It's kinda interesting that they indeed appear to be resin, not hard plastic. As to the veracity of the "available for shipping" I obviously can't say, but that's exactly what Mr. Reidy states on the shop page -- and yes, I have a screenshot that shows it

Add a smidge of chinese toy army car and I think you hit the nail on the head.

Might work better with track units for a 'snow hare' variant.

I think that with a decent paint job they'll probably look good. However I have no interest in ever giving these guys money directly! If it shows up in the shops then I'll consider it.

Well, ready to ship doesn't specify "when" does it?      

And pardon the grognardly curmudgeon but having been spoiled by my first fantasy figures "back in the day" costing 50 cents, it is $29 for two Eggs armed with hammers style "jeeps" that has driven me to 3/6 mm figures for company or large games.

Has Defiance actually released anything they've hinted at in the past 6-8 months?  A sudden appearance of random resin vehicles makes me think these are not Defiance products but some small time resin vehicle company they've hooked up with - just selling a quasi-generic future styled utility vehicle.

...a resounding "meh".  Look on the bright side - it's not that garbage quasi-plastic junk...

Regardless of their FecesBook activity or lack thereof, Tony's post saying they are "shipping now!" is still up on the shop page. And who are we to dispute that -- iz on teh Interwebz s0 must be teh truths

That's a very good price and worth it if they can follow through. I don't 100% like the look though. I think khurasan may still get my cash for an APC.
