Here is a photo of the tank sprue:

I see lots of moding opportunities here. For example, changing some of the gun turrets and replacing them with the MG barrels you see on the top left of the sprue. I also have a lot of Battlefront 15mm tanks which could very well provide me with different tracks or bodies.

Personally, I can't shake the thought that the tanks look British and that is why I ordered a bunch of Blue Moon Colonials. I'm thinking a War of the World's scenario ala 1890. Khaki clad infantry with British artillery blue machines.

Like I say, can't wait to start this new project.

Those machine guns have handles just the right size for a 28mm hand too. I keep looking at them and wondering about 'vickers machine pistols'

I'm in the US so I'm sure that cut some of the time off. I don't have the packing list in front of me but it was mostly add on and bonus stuff I'm missing. US armored infantry and assault teams, the big artillery vehicle, and I think the Martian zombie troops. I got the plastic tanks and tripods, US infantry, HMG teams, BEF squad, rough riders, fleeing civilians, and Martian Drones.
I haven't put any plastics together yet but they look pretty good. The metals have a fair bit of flash on them and I noticed a couple of miscasts on the smaller parts but nothing major.

They were on the North Star stall at Partizan today.
The tripods look very useful, but the tanks were incredibly naff - ludicrously big guns and festooned with turrets.

Those were the ones I built. The tank sprue makes about 4 variants, most of which aren't quite so bad. I chose that one as it's the only one that doesn't just look like a ww1 tank. The guns are indeed big but to be honest, for 15mm, the tank itself is bloody big.

yes, and very spooky.

We are staging a big Martians vs Redcoats game (15mm) tomorrow night at my local club. The scenario is an homage to the date.

Quite where this will go once I have masses of new stuff i have no idea ...
