colonial africa in 1840's game
« on: 07 May 2013, 11:49:12 PM »
Hi all
I had another great game this evening and at times as you will see from the photos it got a bit hectic. The scenario was a joint tribal attack on a British supply post in 1840's Africa. Three tribes attacked as a column arrives at the post and they take heavy loses but manage to break through ,only to have The Great Chief's son killed in the final assault and have to withdraw as shown by the arrow. Lucky Brits again.

WOW!! That looks great!!  :o

Certainly does!

Nothing like hordes of Africans and superb terrain to spice up a gaming table.

CC,

I like how you tell the story with just the photos, and not too many.  It is an art.  And, yes, beautiful, but to be expected from a professional painter, no?  Still lovely to see so thanks for sharing.  That is what a game should look like in my eye and I keep reaching in that direction but have no plans to paint that well, acceptable is good enough for me.
