Brilliant stuff. Really well made and painted. I will look forward to a game report. I agree a few more bits of scatter terrain would be nice, may be some piles of rubbish and burned out cars.

Over all, it looks great.

Simply bloody awesome.

Perhaps a couple of cargo containers, I did see some on a KS IIRC? Could be packed in the top floor? Or some skips?
Cheers,

Thanks Rob and Poiter.  :) I wonder what will fit inside the building to store it all? Cars, containers and barricades? I could put the cards/dice in a shipping container if it fits...

I just posted a short battle report here: http://makeandpaint.blogspot.com.au/2013/07/scavenging-but-not-much-surviving.html
And here's another sneaky pic.

I loved your last wee Aggro battle report, it looked as bloody as mine, but yours had some sneaking. :D

That is all seriously impressive, mate!
The attention to detail with the walls, interiors, graffitti etc, really brings it to life.
 :-* :-* :-*

And, yep, I agree: You need more stuff.
Just so that we can all dribble over new posts on this thread.
 :D

Do it!

I'm so impressed! This is a beauty and very inspiring for the rest of us failures not participating in the challenge :)
Good job!

Great job!  8)

Very cool (in a hot, dusty, irradiated way!)  :D

Also, I like what you've done with the SSS rules as well.  You're right that the open is a dangerous place and so plenty of cover and shelter from others and from the weather (in your game presumably the effect of sun/heat/radiation replaces snow/cold/blizzard?) will improve the likelihood of survival.  I'll answer the specific questions on the SSS thread later, when I can type into a pc rather than tap into a phone!  ;)
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Oh, and I agree with Rob..... Burned out cars and piles of rubbish will provide some small but useful pieces of cover. Did you see the rusty Porsche that Dr The Viking made for his board?

Brilliant!

I agree with Steve on the others, more trash and burnt out cars, ir also adds a lot to the apocalypse feel.
I wish I had your skill/eye for scratchbuilding, as it would make it so much easier to finish my projects :)

Cracking little set up  :-*

Thanks boys. It only just fits in the box, which is the main challenge at this point. What else can I fit in??? I am glad it seems to work. It looks a little basic to my eye when compared to all your amazing pieces. Any further tips for sand/dirt/scatter from any postapoc veterans? My first apoc foray seems ok but needs more bling.

As you can see from the battle report I bought some dinky cars from Blighty via evilbay. You can pick up broken ones for a bit of a steal, but they are a bit big unfortunately. So, I have 4 large cars, they just didn't provide enough cover.

Great job!  8)

We had irradiated nuclear winds, so a little duck and cover in a nearby auto was required in turn 2, haha. We thought 4 people could shelter in one car, as the only structure stood in the middle of the board with only a few characters being able to reach it. Lol.

The pale color schemes of all your terrain really looks amazing, The whole thing is like a work of art. It really draws you into the little world you created. I am very impressed!

Thanks, glad you liked my batrep!
The Fallout wiki is pretty cool. There's a lot of great images for painting schemes in there.
