Maid Marian
« on: May 19, 2013, 04:07:12 PM »
Sir Robert Fitzwalter and his daughter Marian.

Trent Miniatures and Wargames foundry figures who will shortly be seen in our forthcoming Robin Hood campaign.

I must admit I rushed these to get them finished for a game and am not best pleased with the results especially when viewed close up ::)

Here is the inspiration for the campaign:

Its full of wonderful scenario ideas and all sorts of secondary characters who will be apearing on the tabletop. which means lots more painting to do. :o

I hadn't remembered how sad the tales are as....(PLOT SPOILER) almost every major character dies by the end of the book......  :'(

"These creatures do not die like the bee after the first sting, but go on age after age, feeding on the blood of the living"  - Abraham Van Helsing

Lovely! Thanks for sharing.

Lovely figures and book takes me back to  my boyhood. Anyone recall the Billy Connelly sketch about Robin Hood dying in a tenement in Glasgow it was superb. Of course that was a long, long time ago when the Big Yin was actually funny.
