Wow... :o
Nice collection.
Well done. What a roll of figures.

Sorry for abuse of your thread but when i mean lack of space i really do mean that unfortunatelly.
Appart from the plastic boxes full of scenery and plastic sprues i also have 4 smaller boxes full of 20mm and 28mm metal figures plus a lot of boxes of plastic kits.
This is the organized area. The one in complete chaos is not pictured for the sake of minds. ;)
Thousands of minis and a single person to paint them.

No worries here about your pictures.  :) That is a very well organized area. I can see where the scenery would take up a lot of that space.

We are lucky that in addition to having all this space to use, both of us are gamers. I can only imagine the "conversations" about how all our space was being used if I wanted dishes there (I've heard that's what some people put in their glass cabinets) or he wanted a CD/DVD collection on the shelves.  >:D

Thousands of minis by one person=lots of quality time.

Happy to help! I was so excited when Teshub found the LAF and introduced me. The inspiration on these boards is never-ending. I have a mental catalog of different projects that have sparked ideas here, and I find I get lost in the pages! It's neat to hear the fantasy bug biting you again.

More adventures to follow!

The Saturday following our Thanksgiving Fantasy Warriors game we had an RPG adventure in which our party had to lead an assault into an orc stronghold:

and since I've spoken of the versatility of our terrain before, I thought you'd like a LAF-exclusive, behind the scenes view of the setup of this Great Northern Orc fortress.

Love that orcish architecture; a spectacular setup.

Wow... :-*
Nice scenario.
That orc vilage would also suit for ancient iberian vilage for example.

Thank you for sharing all of this with us. It's a strong personal take on 'wargaming', and goes to show that it doesn't always has to be for 'boys' only.
Also, loving the orc stronghold!

Glad you found the thread, Marine0846, and thanks for your kind words.

You're welcome, CaptainHaddonCollider! It's been wild to see that there are folks who like to read about our gaming!

I'm doing some updating on the website and had some new pictures of the Gautrian armies of our hero, Kvig Melgarson, and his ally/nemesis, King Mangus Volsung.

COOL STUFF! You have more of a variety of mins than I initially thought; AND they all work together WONDERFULLY!
I love this photo:

The Big Dude with matching sword second from the right is one of the first Reaper minis I painted...I think mine was a redhead. GREAT PHOTO & GREAT MINIS!

Thanks for the photography compliments, Nala! And that Reaper figure you mention is, in fact, a muted redhead. Great minds again!

The collection is fueled by many different lines and manufacturers. If the mini fits our vision, we make it work. The gorgeous redhead shield maiden is a Bronze Age that at 32mm we never would have picked up, but were gifted him from a LAFfer and she makes a perfect Big Girl with Sword.
