Fantasy miniatures by time

I am looking at trying to organize my fantasy figures (mostly dwarf by (time created/issued - 1978, 1979, 1980, etc. along with design compatibility) such as Der Kriegspieler, Ral Partha, Denizen etc. as a means of making each "army" or "force" more distinct but I can't find (among all the nice websites with pictures of early dwarf figures) one that is divided/organized by "time" of the figures.

Anyone know a website that addresses fantasy figures by year (or so) created/issued?
