Advenutre time miniatures?
« on: July 01, 2014, 10:42:44 PM »
does anyone make anything similar?
I'm looking for a finn and jake to play as hero's in a sword and backpack campaign and can't find anything suitable.
i don't really want them to look exactly like the cartoon as im running the setting darker then the tone of the show, but really i need a slim young swordsman type , and  large bulldog model.
Also an ice king would be great, but i can probably find a suitable old wizard.
I'm happy to mod certain things, like the bunny hat,, but i can't sculpt well enough to pull off a whole figure.
(for those who don't know adventure time, i recommend watching it.it's basically a dm making d&d jokes inthe  form of a hilarious and moving cartoon, but with a great story arc.)
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

My son & I were talking about this very thing the other day. Sadly I have no suggestions but it seems like something Hasslefree should/would do. Lord knows the boy & I'd buy a set.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

It does seem strange that a show that contains so much gamer humor and is watched by alot of gamers hasn't spawned a line of "not finn and jake" minis.even the toys themselves are just too big.

Would be some fun minis, for sure!

I'm down for Finn with Demon Blood Sword, Jake, an Enchiridion for setting the scene and just for kicks... Peppermint Butler, especially in his 'dark' aspect.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Some Not Finn and Jake minis would just be Mathematical!
and don't forget BMO and lady rainicorn, also some Fiona and Cake (and Marshall Lee/Ice Queen/Prince buttercup etc) would just be Algebraic!

and while we're at it, some Not Bravest Warriors would rock too

I can't imagine they wouldn't sell. Like Nic-e said, just give them a "real boy" look & there's your new post-apocalypse heroes.

If I post any figures that that bear even a passing resemblance to characters from any popular TV show it wil be a complete coincidence.

nkelsch made one using a Super Dungeon Explore and reaper character:) Chibi style but I think it fits well. Such a cool idea
