I have a vague (nothing new for moi) feeling I had that mini from a Metal Magic Bar Room Set; I may have done mine in purple, but that was a long time ago.
She looks good in red...appropriate for her profession perhaps. VERY NICELY DONE!

Bingo! Red for work, but also we're planning construction of this oft-mentioned inn and we wanted some of these characters to stand out in the photos.

We're happy to go tripping down memory lane with you  o_o . We've been thinking what a shame it's been to have all these ladies in waiting, instead of painted.

May be she has a Bag of Holding filled with all sorts of fabulous objects...or not.

I took our daughter to see the Harry Potter flicks and the first time Hermione brought out her purse, I leaned over to tell her what a Bag of Holding was. To which she replied, "Mom, they stole that from Doctor Who."  ;) I love my kids.

Mason, thanks for the compliments! Glad we could start more fires burning in your already blazing gaming mind.

Thanks, OLeary. That captive will make some fabulous scenes.

The last week of June is coming and our painting tray is clearing off!

Our DAY 22 Lady of A Lady A Day comes to us as a gift from fellow LAFfer LeadAsbestos. He loved the idea and happened to have these beautiful Viking Women from Bronze Age Miniatures that would make perfect ladies.

Here is the second of four from that series, a two-handed axe wielder. They do serious damage to armor with whatever rules are up.

I think the new Babe has become my favorite...I love her "I'm-holding-a-big-ax-&-you're-getting-annoying" expression. A nice choice of colors & some fine brushwork merit a VERY WELL DONE!

All are absolutely wonderful but this latest lady is definitely the best one yet.  :-* The attitude exuding from her is so bad-ass. Definitely has the makings of a famous PC for your RPG.

DAY 23 of A Lady A Day is the third Bronze Age Viking Warrior from the set of four. Duck!

And this is how we do things in Gautria!

The bit of character interaction going on there at the bottom is delightfully awesome!
Grim events ahead for those two!

These figures look even BETTER all together, I'm jealous of the collection present.

Now that's what every Norse Neighborhood needs: a Psycho Ax Swinging Babe in Red. The Girl turned out COOL; you got greater depth to her skin tones; the chain mail looks TERRIFIC; & the red has a nice smooth feel to it. All in all VERY WELL DONE!

DAY 24 of A Lady A Day is a skald for our champion Bleddyn. He has to pay very well to get his songs sung for him.

I just love this thread. You guys are unbelievably creative. Thanks for these wonderful pics.

Oh, btw. I am finally able to have a closer look at the comic pages. So even more great stuff to enjoy.

You guys are just steaming along here. This recent group of dangerous babes are my favorite I think. Also I'm so glad you photographed some of them together for us. A photo of all of them together is going to make many people envy you this collection. And I think some people are wishing they'd thought of this idea first as it's a splendid one :D :D

I really like the ensemble scene - some lovely painting there and a great story to be told.

The Skald has an ethereal air about her that fits her profession wonderfully...some FINE brushwork & color choices. GREAT WORK!

Your project has got me into painting mode. Looking at the tally sheet for the combined Vaults of Pack Rattiness (mostly Capt. John's stuff), I figure that if I were to do a mini a day, I'd have the last of the pieces painted up in 40 years...that should give me enough time to sort out what will be next on the schedule.

DAY 25 of A Lady A Day is a lady that has better places to be.

She is one more example of a figure that has been in the lead pile for almost 20 years and would never have been painted were it not for this challenge! It's been great to see these unused figures turn into a collection.
