I love the sinewy shading you did on everyone's flesh. It's a great effect! And I have to mention again, I love your creative use of natural material!

Thanks for your kind comments, really welcome to get me back painting Barbarians again, once I have finished my Oldhammer project (see blog link)

Some great work here in this army.
Whilst they all look great, my personal favourite is the chariot, which I feel is a wonderful centrepiece.
 :-* :-* :-*

Thanks Mason (2 different chariots there by the way). There are more wheeled things to come.

Love the giants, and a great idea to have them count as chaos warriors! =) Just one little question, I'm way behind on my Warhammer-fu... when removing casualties from a unit would one base count as one unit or would a base count as "as many bases it's covering"?
I hardly play any games, let alone Warhammer any more, preferring to just paint figures so not sure what you mean :?. When I was using this unit , it counted as 16 Chaos warriors, so the big Reaper giant base covers 6 25mmx25mm squares , so he counts as 6 warriors...

You have done an amazing job with getting the overall tone and feel just right for your army. It looks like it all belongs together pillaging out of the Northlands....

I am liking the red-haired Vanir - Lovely use for some classc old minis. So, when do we get to see the blonde haired Aesir to fight against them?

Thanks Little Odo, I have Aesir figures ready, so probably in the next decade or so  :)

Here is the wardrum, made from the skins of previous chieftains so they can still terrify the enemy

Drum made from handy plant food scoop with tomato puree tube skin and lentil rivets.

Love it - both the conversion and paint job.
