Colonel Edward Titchener, British Colonial from Reaper

Just found this in the Reaper previews:

Really really like this figure. He'll be a welcome addition to my collection - perhaps a new Flashman?

He looks nice. :)
But chances are that he'll be too big to fit in with anything but redoubt. :(

He's a jolly decent looking looking chap Eh what?
I wonder about the size too, but probably a must have  as a character figure. :)

I just bought some Reaper pirates and they're freaking huge.  Still that model's got character.

Reaper makes no attempt to standardize their size/scale from what I can see so judge each one individually.

I like this, but there's something wrong with his right hand. It doesn't seem to be holding the pistol properly at all.  :?

Hmmm, yes, the fingers are a bit odd - they appear to be spaced out too much. The sword is a bit on the large side, but easily filed down, I feel.

These are only minor problems, IMO, as otherwise he's a very fine model.

I think I might buy one to either use as Flashy, or as Colonel Fred Burnaby for my Sudan games.

He's available. I've ordered and will let you know how he looks in person.

Quite like these Bob Olley sculpts that go with the colonel:

They are nice figures, but somehow they don't look quite right  :?

I think I'd be happier to stick with the Empress Minis range - they are more to my taste. Probably cheaper too  :)

I purchased him when he first came out. I don't have my camera handy but I measured him. From the soles of his shoes to the top of his helmet he is 35mm tall. He is slightly taller than one of my Renegade Early WW1 Germans and is about half a head taller than my Foundry Sir Richard Burton.
