Any idea on the postage costs for UK/Europe with this KS as we always seem to get stung with a heavy shipping charge? West wind did free shipping on their KS but not sure if we'll be that lucky?

First it's not a mandatory 5% smaller. There's a bit of shrinkage in the plastic manufacturing of up to 5% of the original. So yes your plastic APEs would be slightly smaller than your metal ones. Shave down the base on the plastics so they can slip into the recess of the rounded 30mm bases and that'll easily make up the difference from a height standpoint. That being said, we'll be providing plenty of APEs in the boxed set itself for Incursion so you shouldn't need to purchase more for the game.
