Star wars: x-wing- project death star trench run

Good God!!! You can't look at Lead Adventure Forum without getting discouraged lately. Where in hell are all these fantastic terrain projects coming from this week? My buddy Mike and I worked on a Death Star set and it took us weeks of careful work to get it together. I was really pleased with it too. Then along comes you sir, making terrain that you could shoot a movie on. Did it actually take only three days to get to this point, or are you parceling out the progress in photos? I absolutely love this, and I'm jealous as a.. a.. a thing that gets really jealous.   

Makes me want to go back to dry-erase matts for all my gaming.

I've started to cut up the june 11th.
My lead forum account has been activated the 19th.
From this date, i give you the progress day by day; i can work on it only the evening, and the week end.
I'm very impatient to destroy the death star

To be honest, i've painted the docking bay to easily use my airbrush, when i'll paint the trench.

Super job, well done that man! And those HA parts really fit well with the surroundings, never would have thought of that in this scale.

I might try something similar with my tiny stub-fighters, what was it 1:2250?

One question though, can you balance the models on all those pipes and other detail?
