Red Devils for Bolt Action -> First squad finished
« on: 21 June 2013, 07:49:03 AM »
Hi there,

after a sweatingly hot week here in Germany I managed to finish my first squad of Red Devils which shall be improved to a small force for Bolt Action. Finally because I bought those figures on Crisis 2012 and started to paint them week ago.

However here they are:

As usual I painted them mostly with Vallejo Model Colours and shaded them with Armypainter Quick Shade Dark Tone.
The miniatures are from Warlord Games own range. Very nicely sculpted but unfortunately not combinable with Crusader miniatures since they are noticeably smaller. However I like the different poses a lot since most of them are available with berets which is an absolut must-have for paras for me.

On my blog there are some more pictures and some information about the colour tones I used:

Cheers
Stefan

Thanks a lot for all those encouraging comments. I hope to have the whole force finished this autumn to give them some action against Germans of a fellow membe of our club.

Next year I would like to present some games around Operation Tonga or Market Garden because of their 70th aniversary...

Cheers
Stefan
