Nice work, I'll be anxious to see the boats. Looks very interesting.

You have more patience than me to do all those plates and laces in different colours.  Agree the boats are looking interesting already

Is that an anchor he has strapped to his back or is it a Japanese stylised palm tree or other botanical obscurity? If it is an anchor, I hope he doesn't get his ship sunk under him.

lol Yes it's a "grapin" ( I don't know the english word ) , an ancient anchor for Japanese ships !

Old glory are much better than I expected. I am really tempted by their monks.

I like black hat a lot. I am making a Samurai force for kings of war. I am probably going to use Black Hats Ronin for my Militia Mob and a combination of The Assault Group and Perry Warrior monks for my penitents mob. Only have 10 Monks so far though so many add some old glory in the future.

Do you have any other old glory mini's btw? The website has no pictures of most.

Yes ! I 've got some cavalry and Yari / Yumi / Teppô ashigarus ...

I will post some Yumi ( archers ) ashigarus but ... let me some time to paint them  ;)

(They are excellent with straw rain coats and very well engraved )

Oh ! But i think :

Here , you could see Koreans and Samuraïs / Ashigarus , a lot from OG , from an axcellent and enthousiastic painter !

Btw do you mind If I use your painted Old Glory as the Picture for the Samurai sticky thread? Atm all I have is a picture of their unpainted seven Samurai and I think one of your pictures would represent the range better.
