Hi Guys

Well I finally managed to paint up my Scotland Yard (apart from the Consulting Detective, Good Doctor and Special Branch Sergeant however I have plans for them ;)).

More pics and a bio for all of Section H on my blog - http://offtclub.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/ihmn-scotland-yard.html.

I do love it when people characterise everyone in their company including the rank and file.
It turns every game into an episode in a Penny dreadful :)

Well done Ste.

Cheers Craig. You may have guessed from my blog that I do like to waffle on a bit, IHMN  seems to promote that aspect of war gaming. Its bringing out the nascent roleplayer in me (arghhhh) :o

Or you could say it brings out the nascent 'author' in you  :)

Well they do say we've all got one good book in us (or in my case several average pulp novels!)

Very nice brushwork. They look like a great company.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Hope you're satisfied!

You've stoked my brush-aversion self-hatred AND non-buyer's remorse concerning the lads of the Yard.  lol

Haven't even got to your blog, yet.

Lovely group, looking forward AAR's to torture me further.  ;)

These are some fine looking figures, and I was mildly surprised to see how well they performed against the other groups, despite my expectations.

There really is a lot of balance among them, once the guy pushing them around learns which tactics works for those particular gentlemen. It's also amusing how often Holmes' Erudite Wit comes into play.

Indeed, he's a sneaky one that Holmes.

The Scotland Yard list highlights how well the system works when you utilise the right set of Talents. I've played with a British Rifle Company who are just brutal however they can fall to the more abstract tactics of the Yard who are clearly less "combat" oriented.
