Bullshot, you don't want to go with the wedding party favor carriages I presume? Papp Midnight's carriage was wicked cool.

Skrapwelder- those vehicles are great, I love the carousel horses idea.  :-*

On the Atlantis theme, I find the movie enjoyable from a steam-tech adventure point of view, and the Atlantean tech is very cool too. Excellent concepts from Disney. Treasure Planet is likewise a lot of fun. Neither are my favourite Disney movies (I'm a bit of a fan, actually, of Disney - go to the parks a couple of times a year!).

Lately the Atlantis stuff has been going cheap on ebay.  I got 3 of the box sets with the little tank shown earlier for 15$ (including shipping) about a month ago.  They used to be outrageous, but the last several months seems to have seen a reduction overall.

Grant you are crackers (in a good way!  ;D)

Has anyone used the aeronaut model from the Golden Compass film with 28mm yet. I know the Magisterial carriage works ok but not sure about this one!

There were two that I know of. The smaller one looked a treat for 15mm or smaller, not so much for 28mm, even as a one-seater. The larger one, with inflatable balloon balls, appeared quite good to me.

Back to carriages, Dr. Mathias is quite right that the very humble wedding cake toppers are excellent He's also too modest, as his own work betrays.

However, I've a wedding cake 'pumpkin' carriage I've not seen so used; keep an eye out for one of those for something relatively unique.

@Grant I actually enjoyed Treasure Planet and Atlantis the Lost Continent, but am still ambivalent about Disney on the whole.

Over the weekend I won an Ebay auction for three different Lledo horse-drawn vehicles, which will form the basis for the first elements in my (steam) motor pool.

Inspired by Skrapwelder's vehicles and adding my own take on a mad science Victorian world, here work-in-progress shots of my first steam vehicles for INMN, based on some Lledo horse-drawn vehicles I won on Ebay and stuff from my bits box:

Steam Hansom - ready for painting:

Steam Carriage - a little more work needed (harness for the horse and controls for the cab)

Wicked!

Good stuff but that tailpipe scares me.  lol

I was REALLY avoiding mentioning that!  lol

Top rate, Bullshott.

Picked up a couple Days Gone autos,  recently, discovered I've a fire wagon I'd completely forgotten, and missed was Lledo.

What a cracking idea, sir.
They both look great!

I have just picked up some horse drawn stuff myself recently, so stealing your ideas looks extremely viable, Dave.
