28mm Scale War of the Worlds Tripods
« on: July 06, 2013, 09:58:55 PM »
Does anyone know where I can get a 'pukka'-looking Wellsian Martian Tripod in God's Own Scale or thereabouts?

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Eureka one nice but I don"t have that much to spend!

I am after a 'proper' one from the original book but would settle for anything really, as long as it isn't thousands of miles away and costing me a fortune.

I made one based on the French edition.

The body is cast resin. Arms and legs are scratch built.

I believe I still have the molds around somewhere. If you want to go that route I could supply you with the body at least and give you a run down of how I built the rest.
