Here is my wish list Santa:

Some "common" gladiator types like thraex, secutors and murmillos with separate helmets and maybe even an open weapon hand. The gladiators with separate heads could also be used for fantasy stuff by throwing an orc head on the body etc.

"Champion" gladiators that have more elaborate armor and decoration, for example, like Tigris from that Gladiator movie.

A loose pack of gladiator helms (for use on above and for fallen helmets).

A loose weapons pack including: a thrown net, gladius, sica, parma (small shield), scutum, etc.

Spectators - shouting, cheering, fist shaking, exchanging coin, booing, thumb pointing, and women ones too.

Some colorful lanista types, watching their investments fighting in the arena.

I'm sure I'll think of some more...

Looks very much like my wish list.   :)

Perhaps a small line of poorly equipped slaves...just four or five poses with simple weapons, and normal tunics, for use in larger arena games where they might be set against a small number of proper gladiators.

There is already a lot of nice poorly equipped slaves from Foundry:

Yes, that's what I would appreciate, too. There are tons of Gladiators out there, of all types, scales and styles. But only a few spectators.

I was only yesterday looking at these sculpts on the Brigade Games site (and thinking buy, buy buy!) and then today I find this thread. I think someone is trying to tell me something!

I must admit I didn't realise they were by Paul Hicks, kind of obvious now!

But more spectators would be good. A fast food seller would be good; otters noses, that kind of thing.

My Gladiator project is waiting in the wings.

Despite the fact I have all the Foundry Gladiators, and many of the Crusader ones too, these look to good to ignore. I will definitely be getting these! I suppose you can never have to many Gladiators  :)

I would love the less common Gladiator types to be added. The Laquerarius, Contra-retiarius, Gladiatrix, Velite, Sagittarius, Eques, Essadarius, Scissori, Cruppellarius and Gaetulian.

I don't know if I would buy spectator models myself, but I could see them selling well.

I picked up this set, and a set of Brigade Games Bushwackers which I would not have ordered solo.  So...well done!  I actually only have 6 other gladiator minis, but they happen to be a Retiarius, Lacquerius, etc...so I think I'll have the major options covered.  Excellent.

What Lon really needs to produce, is a second Provocatore since they only fought each other, a Scissores and a Diamcharius as well as the aforementioned Retarius.

Looking at the pictures.  With all the apparent research that went into these figures why did Paul omit the two Orcea on the Hoplomachus??  It is still a very nice figure, but there is just no excuse for the omission.

The hoplomachus has two ocrea - am I missing something?  :?

Just ordered mine.  :D

Don't buy them separately!! They are $4.00 each or all 5 for $16.00 - that's a bargain!!

We have to support this new line so we can get more!!

Fascia, I believe is the term for the actual padding, where as the Ocrea are the actual armor pieces.

At least that's what I figured from the small bit of research I've done.
