I've finally finished painting my Scotland Yard Company set. Sorry about the quality of the photos (especially the yellowish skin tones and blurring), but the evening light was playing tricks when I photographed these outdoors) - I'll try to take some better shots at some point.

Firstly, the Police and their Special Branch support:

The consulting Detective and his companion The Good Doctor (Ironclad figures rather than the pair with the IHMN set, as I much prefer Jeremey Brett's Holmes to Basil Rathbone's):

Police reinforcements (Eureka figures with an IHMN bobby for comparison):

Nice work there Dave. Agreed about the Ironclad Sherlock Holmes miniature, that's my favourite too.
Don't!

Nice work, Bullshott, Sir!
Jolly good show!
 :-* :-*

Love the reinforcements, the slightly larger fellas obviously spend most of their time at the desk or the pie shop and add a nice touch of realism to the group.

I do like the chubby Bobby with the fine mutton chop whiskers. Now we know who ate all the pies eh?  lol

He's not chubby! He's just got his longcoat stuffed to keep him warm. Stuffed with pastries, methinks...

Otherwise, I echo Thunderchicken's comments. I have a consulting detective somewhere in Inverness cape and deerstalker, but that IS a treat. If anything, reminds one of Mr. Brett's too early passing.

Very nice.

I'm guessing its extra Faraday coats he's wearing.

One must  have insulation when patrolling the mean streets of the city, luckily pies do have a side benefit of providing said insulation.

Bravo on the company, however I do have to disagree with my learned colleagues- Rathbone Holmes is more iconic than Brett Holmes  :o
However your Watson is top notch, good show.

Certains, more the Sherlock of popular imagination; we think, mayhaps, Brett did the 'truer'.  :D

In VSF, there's room for both.  ;)

There can only be one!  lol

I'd see them more in friendly competition; could be fun, but tricky, on the role-playing side in a single company.

One company each, in a multi-player setting, fires the imagination further.

Competitive, but not adversaries. REALLY tricky.
