Pretty good. The infantry are nice (and I like the shield option).

The horse is the weak point - legs seem thin and the ears a little small.

Hi again Von,

Yeah the horse was my first 15mm so your comments are food for thought and making the next horse better  :)

A good trio of figures. Like Von Lucky said, the horse could do with thicker legs but for a first go i like the barding.

Barding as in the Armour?

Yeah, the horse armour. I can imagine it took an age as i've delved into sculpting myself, chain mail takes for ever!!!

Max... oh yeah lol, i tried atleast 4-5 times before i got it anywhere i thought looked ok, and that was after stopping useing greenstuf and changing the putty. chain-mail is hard on smaill figures and i guess hard in general, i though it was just pressing holes into the putty but it seems pressing and pulling to the side makes it look more like chainmail, kinda looks likes an S* type design if you see what i mean?.

I've done lots of chain mail on my latest project, after doing it on around 40 men i'm getting the hang of it. The only thing is i use a needle instead of thicker wire some use so mine is smaller so i have to do more holes.

Are they your first sculpts?

(example of my stuff, it's on a 28mm figure so a bit bigger than a little 15mm chap)

Max..... They are my first 15mm but ive sculpted other stuff, 28mm...so ive had practice  . I got a few different creatures im doing at the moment, ive been sculpting on and off for years but gave up dozens of times cos of frustration . if you use a needle , do you use a sharp one or a blunted/rounded off one? i found it you blunt the needle off at the tip it didnt tear or catch in the putty, thats just what i found anyways, youve got the hang of it all right!, aint chainmail all different in sizes though? some is tightly knit together and other less so? in real life i mean. not and expert , just stuff ive seen on the net etc, etc ......
