Oh, those are great!!!
Thanks, Remington!
They're good solid buildings; it would have been nice to have a bit of variety in rooflines, as a lot of brick/masonry buildings have elaborate corbelling and such up long the roofline of the front facade. Sarissa's newer Gaslamp Alley buildings have various roof and floor options available; it would be awesome if they came back to the older CityBlock buildings and added some of that flexibility.
I haven't yet put chimneys on the roofs of mine yet, although I had intended to at first. The reason is purely practical: they're already hard enough to store without making it hard or impossible to stack them on top of each other!
Here's a photo from the weekend of the buildings in their first ever game... I need to do a grey "urban" matt or something similar now, I can tell!
Next up is going to be a batch of sidewalk and alleyway pieces in different sizes on 3mm hardboard like Sarissa uses for their buildings so the materials match. Trying to match the laser-cut pavement patterns will be a bit of a challenge but should be possible. I'm also planning a couple of fenced yards and vacant lots for variety, likely on the same size bases as the buildings.
