This was a really enjoyable first game of IHMN that we played.  :)

Colin's scenery looked very effective. With hindsight, we think we should have had more and some bigger pieces - this approach worked well for our second game.

No real problems with the rules, and the counters really helped to avoid forgetting things (although it was a bit fiddly/messy to use so many).  The game lasted a full two hours, but this was probably because we spent a lot of time manoeuvering and learning the rules.  Our second game was much faster.

I'm still getting used to my 'Blue Tortoise Tong' Chinese company (and having fun fine-tuning it!)  So far, I don't think I've been using my mystic powers to great effect. They cost quite a lot of points so I should be carefully choosing powers that I can use every single turn. I also think I need to add something like the yeti to my company that has serious hitting/scaring potiential ......

Colin's steam tank and machine gun were intimidating but I should have sent the fanatics in against it early on in the game. We were playing before the amendments came out with revised points for machine guns.

Looking forward to the next game! 8)

Not a lot of cover out there on the Martian plains. No wonder the death toll was so high.

Excellent AAR there Col Nash :), well worth a mention on the IHMN Blog.

So when the red dust settled what did you think of the rules in action?
