bloody nora - that's stunning work - particularly considering the speed at which you work!

As one of the most underrated races in the GW fold, I'm happy to see this.  No longer a GW gamer, but an Eldar gamer for 12 years or more (exclusively, believe it or not).  Nice to see them get some appreciation.

Also, I think their models lend themselves to more breathtaking paintjobs than most.

I think its the colours!
Yellow, bright blue and red jewels.....

I go's back to vague memories of other peoples Rogue Trader amry's when we were all kids, or at least teenagers/students...

No one really paints using those bright colours anymore...
Its all weathering and washes and AFV techniques form Spain....

Please dont spoil it MrDee....

Heh!  I can't paint half that well, but yesterday I was told my style was too fancy 'n' slow for tabletop standard.

Echoes: lovely yellows, and fantastic blending on that blue.

yes mate and then probably sell them soon afterwards most likely to fund either more tattoos or a reaver

I used to have the odd person say that to me as well a few years back mate.....paint to your standard and your speed and tell such people to do one :)

I have decided i now hate gems........

but they are out the way would have got these finished today but I had to go to Exeter to give a mate a tutorial on airbrush useage.

What's the next unit mate? Guardians? Hope you got a harlequin troupe to add to this force.

I don't know if an Iyanden Ghost Army is still an option...but that would mean an awful lot more Wraithguard.  What is the size of the army/force you'll be doing?

PS: I was going to make a quip about gems...and if you think you're done...you're not.  I don't think any Eldar model comes without some gems.  After all, gotta keep those souls somewhere right?

No, 2 6 strong wraith units, 1 spiritseer, 1 farseer, 1 crimson hunter exarch - 750points and thats it, I do have another 6 Wraithguard/wraithblades to paint though and I will most likely add a wraithlord as I have always loved those models, maybe a wave serpent but that will be it.  I haven't even finished these anyway

Yes there is a £30 Iyanden suppliment you have to buy ontop of the eldar codex....which muggins here purchased.  But even without the Iyanden book you can take a Spiritseer as a HQ choice and it makes Wraithguard and Wraithblades troop.  750 points
