Where can I get some good cheap uzi in 28mm?
« on: 06 August 2013, 03:05:26 PM »
I am looking for some loose 28mm uzi's. I know they are out there and not so long ago I found some really good ones that I liked, but apparently I never saved the homepage.

Those I have been able to find now has not been to my linkings. Too clumpsy or other stuff has been wrong for me.

Please give me links. Thanks.

 :)

I think Hasslefree does a sprue of 5 Uzis.

I'm on my phone or I'd post a link.

Ah, yeah, they do these:

They look ok, but I would prefer without silencer. (Should be no problem to convert, but please post if there is other suggestions).

There's pseudo-Uzis on some of the old necromunda weapons sprues. Aside from that I only know of the HF one's above.

Actually, they aren't Uzis per se, rather they are MAC-10s. If you look at the photo again, you'll see it even says so on the sprue.

Yes, I am not enough into weapons to know the difference. I just need to make some armed ninjas with uzi or similar to uzi weapons.

Looks like one of the Reaper packs contains an Uzi.
Far less active than I used to...

How about 1/35 scale weapons? I've got quite a few and most will fit the more heroic scaled 28mm minis.

Of course 1/48 would be better, but I have not been able to locate UZIs in that scale...

+++EDIT+++ Here are some more that might fit your requirements:

More like a HK5K, but similar in size:
http://www.statuesqueminiatures.co.uk/p/7319207/sma001-sniper-rifle-and-smg-sprue.html

The 2nd one from the left on the top row looks very much like a Mini UZI:

Then there are these from Heresy:
http://heresyminiatures.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_71&products_id=243

Hasslefree also has these UZIlikes:
http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?product=mac10-smg~hfl012&category=armoury~modern-%26-sci%252dfi

Also these SMGs, thought not quite UZIish, Black Cat Bases:

I hope that helps...  :D

If you don't mind there's hands attached to the weapons, then these might be close enough:

Thanks for the links.

@Daeothar: Those do look pretty good.

@ink the troll: I don't mind the hands, but the weapons look a bit bulky. I'll keep them on the maybe list :)

FWIW, you could probably make some with a bit of plasticard. They're very rectangular and plain.
