Yes, I'll have all the pictures soon. The OGAM pages on the website are 'work in progress' which is why you can't buy anything yet.

The Fomorians are indeed the old FF figures. Fomorians are a 'mortal' unit you can have in a Celt faction, so that's why I'm going to add a unit of them. I think the idea is if you have Balor as your God figure, you can build up a Fomorian army as your Celt Faction. Could be a great little scenario, the Battle of Moy Tura, you'd need a more Tuatha de Danann God opponent than Cernunnos though. I used to have two Hordes armies for that battle, made up of AA Celtic Myth figures, misplaced them over time unfortunately.

Now that has got me interested, looking forward to seeing the pictures. Presumably you can stat Lugh or Nuada as a God Chief

Does it matter if you use round or square bases for your forces?

Have a sudden hankering to do an Egyptian force based around Sherden Guard, hope they're in it!

Will you be making just 1 god per faction at the start Nick?

No need – both are already in the rulebook as gods, so they're good to go. If you want to change their traits, feel free – just work backwards with the army builder.

Not at all. The rules do suggest using square bases for close-order mortal units (so they can rank up), but that's nothing that can't be achieved with round bases if you prefer.

Yes they are.

I suppose it depends on what period of his 'life' Set is in, but to me he should be leading Sea Peoples, Nubians and Babylonian troops into battle, not Egyptians. Of course, that's me being awkward  :D
So many projects..... so little time.......

And Hyksos... gotta love the Hyksos.

Actually, that'd make a really interesting OGAM army... Set, a solid block of infantry, a couple of chariots, some skirmishers, and a couple of desert beasties. Fast-moving, good ranged combat, solid melee...

I might have to rethink my plans. Again.

Good point, they'd fit the definition pretty well for Set's legions.

It keeps the conversation alive  :D
Besides, I didn't have any of the others with the right weapons and they wouldn't have been an instantly recognisable Egyptian force then. Wouldn't be an issue if you'd sculpted Horus  ;) lol

@Nick. Do you intend to provide any other gods except the first four? I suppose it'll depend on sales?

I'd like to see Hades with Cerberus.  ;D

Pretty sure earlier in the thread Nick said 8 gods.

Edit: Nothing to see here, move along  ;)
