I have to say that I was put off at first given what I thought was their slightly garish colours. It didn't fit with my idea of a slightly washed out Old West town with little money to spend on fancy paintwork.  However when I see them with other scenery in your pictures the colours do mute a bit and become slightly more acceptable.  I still might have to apply a little 'dirt' via a wash or two to get them toned down to fit in with my other buildings. I do however love the side walks and since they sell the under floor sections and sidewalks separately I can retro fit them to the rest of my town which are missing that essential part of a cowboy town.

Also, given the nature of the way the MDF is provided (in sheet/sprues all painted one colour) it would be quite easy to spray or paint the parts prior to assembly.  I may try this on another of my buildings.  Overall, I do agree though.  It's a bit more colour than I usually prefer.  But, I can cope.   lol
