Paint it Purple Day
« on: 30 August 2013, 06:16:47 AM »
Hey all- its Wear it Purple day today- to help raise awareness and acceptance of transgender and intersex youth.

I decided to start Paint it Purple day!

These are not finished yet, but my wife only reminded me last night!

Show kids its okay to be born outside the gender binary and help reduce the horrifically high suicide rates.  Wear purple- paint purple... make this society better for all.

Nice little group, and I agree - let any kid know it's okay to express themselves as long as they're not hurting anyone else.

In the spirit of the thread, here are some purple pugs (sorry they aren't fantasy but I don't have any purple fantasy miniatures):

It is most certainly sad when young'uns are pushed to suicide as a result of feeling 'different' to their peers :(.

Free expression is a right and should not be trampled over.

We have purple as the color to help raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease here in the States.  Both are good causes.  Here are some purple's I have to add to the mix!

Keep 'em coming!

As Mrs. Roosevelt put it: "it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness." SO a few candles might be appropriate.

here's an old one of mine.

Wow. Some lovely stuff in here already. Liking DeafNala's scenery. I'd seen some of it before but forgot about it 'til now. I really enjoy painting purple so I'll chip in with a couple.
