The truncheon's cost will increase by 3 points as a result, to 6 points. But well worth it I think.

This should certainly help the bobbies against forces with armoured troops. However, it could be a hinderence against unarmoured forces like the Commune, where the increased costwill result in less manpower on the ground to put down the unwashed hordes.

Credit where credit is due. That is what led me to discussing this with Charles last weekend. 
I don't know why we didn't do this in the first place.
