I'm almost finished base coating those models, but I snuck in a SdKfz 251/1 Ausf C before. The model is the plastic Warlord one. This was my first vehicle with camouflage, but it's based on a grey one. The idea is that it's badly done camo by second rate troops, so you still see quite a bit of grey.

It looks good. Very nice.

The thing I notice about most SdKfz251 models, is that they don't seem big enough? (Either that or the figures are too big?)
The machinegunner here seems to take up almost half the compartment.
These half-tracks were designed to carry a full section of 10 men. Plus two crew. There looks like no way you could fit more than 4 or 5 in there...

Ah well, like many things in wargaming, calls for a bit of a 'suspension of disbelief' I suppose  ::)  :)

Nice model and paintjob at any rate.

Thanks Cap'n! I think that the bases and heroic posing on most models make them look bigger than they really are, and that you could squeeze in the proper number of passengers here. Would be hell to paint though, and they'd probably have to breath in turns. :P

I finished the resistance fighters!

In the back row we have, from left to right, an old guy with a bazooka, LMG, SMG, and then two commandos who works as air observers.
In the front row we have the loader to the bazooka, a sniper, the spotter for the sniper, the loader for the light mortar, and a light mortar.

Here are some close ups too:

Played my second game of Bolt Action today, my opponent didn't know the rules so it took some time (I don't know them terribly well either), but we had a good time. I played my Germans as defenders in the Point Defence scenario against the Danish resistance. I had some luck with the dice, and this combined with my friend starting a bit hesitant meant that I won decisively in the end.

I find I need more obstacles and roads when it comes to terrain.

I've finished my first Wargames Factory Germans. I'm only taking pictures of a couple of them though since the rest are missing bases. I did order some 20 mm ones from Renedra that got lost in the post (not Renedra's fault), and the minis are waiting for the replacements.
I think the WGF models fit quite well with the Perry plastics. I prefer the Perrys as they have better poses, both more natural looking as well as more diverse, but the WGF models are cheap as chips, as well as having a few good complements that the Perrys lack, like sniper rifles and panzerfausts.

I've also started on a 77mm German howitzer from WWI, typical of the second rate equipment the German's in Denmark got. Still painting the crew.

Continue to talk to myself...  :-[

For a month now I've been without bases for my Germans but now I finally received them from Renedra and was able to base up a whole host of minis.

Some finished WGF Germans. To the left we see my sniper and to the right an officer type guy.

Then we have a finished howitzer:

And a unit of Kriegsmarine infantry. These were members of the German navy who towards the end of the war were given rifles and told to go out and defend the Fatherland, basically. They're in a right mix of uniforms, with naval blue, naval white and feldgrau.

Thanks grant!

Here are more converted partisans. Mainly made from the Anglo-Zulu War Brits, but with bits from the American weapon sprue, Russian infantry, British commandos, WGF Germans, Pike & Shotte, and even a head from Warhammer Empire Militia.

@Grant: You need to swallow before you try to talk! :P

@Tank Girl: Thanks Helen!

Painted up a few extra riflemen for a game tomorrow. I also made a German medic.

Unfortunately this seems to be the photo quality I'll get for a few months, until the sun returns.

What set did you get the round soft caps for your partisans from?
