I did a bit of digging and found some pics I have of ARR 2 "Sliabh na mBan", the Rolls Royce armoured car mentioned above. Thought folks might like to have a look at her. Pics taken at the Irish Defence Forces Training Centre at the Curragh, Co. Kildare.








The Lancia that Carlos and I have mentioned isn't an armoured car - it's an armoured personnel carrier. Posting some period photos as I couldn't see the pics Carlos posted (maybe others don't have that difficulty).



Approximately 150 of these were built for the Royal Irish Constabulary as armoured transports during the Anglo-Irish War. They were all left in Ireland after the British withdrawl, and used by both sides in the Irish Civil War.



And yes - there's a 1/56th scale version under construction. More on this and pics closer to the release date.
