Oh. My. God. Just good that they don´t yet have a Lanchester which I could really use for the RCW. lol

Lovely piece of work. The proportions look great, but it´s a later pattern (1920 or so), isn´t it?

It's certainly a beauty. But yes a Lanchester would be nicer. especially as it was probably more widely used (the later 6x4 I'm referring to).

This does appear to be the 1920 pattern RR, the earlier ones had wire spoked wheels as fitted to the requisitioned RR 'Silver Ghost' chassis the bodies were put on.

Hi Guys,

I was at Michael Broadbent's abode yesterday morning and he had just finishing priming the model. It's a little cutie and there will be some crew too. There is even the crank handle  8)

Michael went to great lengths to show me how he constructed this model. Truly remarkable and just shows the talent he has been blessed with.

Congrats to all.
Best wishes,
Helen

I've just been checking the site out and I'm impressed. It is nice to see the rare and unusual rather than just the usual Tigers/Shermans whatever.

Certainly there is a lot of talent there.

It surprises me how well served the 28mm gamer is, and in a relatively short time, with Company B, BAM, Anglian, Chieftain and Crusader etc, all churning out good quality product on a regular basis. Good on you all!

I just need someone to produce a range of  1960's/70's figures for the Rhodesians and Portuguese, the odd Unimog and/or Berliet truck, what have you, and I'll be totally spoiled for choice  :D

Oooo, that's pretty - I wants one, no two - maybe three!

Brent - you're based in Seattle, right?  Any chance that you could make it to FallCon in Calgary?  I'd probably order a ship load of your vehicles if you were to bring some to the convention!

Old Glory makes a Lanchester. I have one -- it scales out to 1/48.

I will definitely buy Company B's 1/56th Rolls Royce (like I have all their other WWI/RCW vehicles), then pester Brent to make a 1/56th Lanchester.

I noticed the Austin Putilov has gone missing from the release/in progress list again... <sigh>

Looks really nice.  Two questions:

1. Will the crew be available separately?

2. How does this differ from Mark Copplestone's Armoured Rolls?

Can't answer the first question as thats a matter for Company B to answer, but the AC is 1/56th scale and that means its larger than the Copplestone. I placed one of my WW1 figures next to the AC for scale and its bang on!

Hope that helps  8)

Mr. Broadbent also has some of my 28mm WWI figures that he has used for scale for the CompanyB RR and Brigade Games artillery.

You guys would be all over us if we didn't do it right  ;)

1/48? I thought the Old Glorys would be more 1/64. Are the other OG-verhicles the same size? I ask for the WW1 miniatures list I did here

You said it! And what is especially encourageig is that it is relatively small businesses with a close connection to the gamers which seem to flourish (as opposed to larger companies with big marketing budgets who try to create a demand rather than listening to the existing demand).
