Muslim Civilians for the Age of El Cid
« on: September 10, 2013, 04:41:04 PM »
The painting mojo seems to have come back with a vengeance. After finishing painting the Berber Horse on Sunday evening, I base-coated and washed a set of Perry Miniatures Muslim Civilians from the First Crusade range, I did the highlights yesterday and the bases after work today.

Six very nice figures from the Perrys that are particularly easy to paint!

As usual, more images and commentary on the Scrivsland blog

Scrivs,
They look really good - and fairly period unspecific so they'd do (I imagine) for anything up to Inter-war Pulp games, should you be that way inclined. I've just picked up some of the monks / priests set from the Crusade range and they are super figures too (and equally useable in a variety of periods).

Oh, those are very nice indeed.  What's the guy on the left doing (in the first picture)?

Very nice.

Neotacha - he's watching his co-worker. Since time immemorial it has always taken more than one government worker to complete a task.

Thanks chaps.

The co-worker is even leaning on his shovel to add that air of 'you do your ten minutes then I'll do mine' I am sure I saw these two repairing the road around our way last week.

I picked mine up to use in Pulp games - however these look much better than mine!

They look great. Like most of the other Forumers have said before me, they could definitely be used for other eras. Thanks!
