Citadel Hobgoblins
« on: September 12, 2013, 11:47:14 AM »
I managed to get a small warband of the old pre-slotta Citadel Hobgoblins painted up at the weekend. They have been in my lead pile for decades but have finally been given a bit of pigment to bring them to life.

Hobgoblin Leader...

Hobgoblin Champion...

Hobgoblin Shaman...

Hobgoblin Discipline Master...

Hobgoblin Warriors with shields...

Hobgoblin Warriors...

I have a bigger batch of the Citadel 'Asian' style hobgoblins still to come. More pictures on my blog...

Great results there.

Must through a wash or two at my old Ral Partha orcs - painted them about 25 years ago (shade, base colour and highlight method) and the wash could have a similar result.
Have fun storming the castle! ...and that really isn't me you know...

Gothic Project: leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=55943.0 - although on pause atm as too much RL stuff getting in the way.

The Lads may be Old, but thy're new to moi...a lot of the older Citadel minis never made it across the Pond. They certainly have a lot of personality, which your brushwork brought out quite nicely. VERY WELL DONE!
