While I'm also not a huge fan of the cartoony style...if I look at it as something intended for 10-12 year olds it makes more sense.  I'm still waiting anxiously - kickstarter begins in 2 days.  Hope to see what all is planned.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this! As long as they don't trample all over everyone's memories of Heroquest and totally change it! Fingers crossed!....in fact eyes, legs and ears crossed as well!!

It certainly does! HeroQuest as with many was my way into the hobby and I have that nostalgic love for it. I hope they do it justice.

I hope the miniatures will not have the slightly cartoonish feeling.

I really like this cover. Dark and gritty.  Also hope that the miniatures will be less cartoonish, which should be okay if I'm looking through the Gamezone miniatures.
