Nobody can challenge their rights in Spain

are you sure?

I would like to think everything s right because the deal looks pretty yummy, but seems like Edge (almost Fantasy Flight Games in Spain) in involved somehow with the IP that sunked their KS in the US.

I'll be honest with what I'd like to see...

The crowd-funding project ends...and then Gamezone changes the name of the game.  We discussed it earlier - no one cares about the actual name.  It's simply the name recognition that Gamezone is after.  Gamezone has been around for what 8-10 years now?  I have faith that even if IP issues come up, the worst case scenario (hopefully) would be a changed-name game, or refunded money, or some form of compensation.

Only time will tell... :-I

But the 50% and more of those who participated in the CF want a new Heroquest, with the name Heroquest, not another Dungeon Crawler similar to Heroquest....

Eh, I doubt that's really the case though.  Even if the game is a blatant copy of Hero Quest, but called Quest of Heroes, I doubt people would throw a riot and demand their money back.  I would have gotten in on this kickstarter regardless of the nostalgia of the HQ name.  In fact, from what I can tell the game looks to be substantially different.

I don't think the "act" has to be fully funded.  I think the revealed items are unlocked.  I'd be pissed if they're only unlocking an act if it is fully revealed.

The two latest:
-Mole Troll
-Pair of Magical Doors

It is gaining slow momentum.  I don't believe it'll be a huge rocket surge though, given the heaps of controversy.

I was meaning it seems that they release the quest book at the end of the act so I want act 3 to get funde so the things in it can be used properly.

That is a Spanish reprint of one of the Heroquest RPG books I think. The Gamezone trademark is for the use of the name in board games.

Multiple people can have trademarks for the same name/word/phrase if the trademarks are meant to cover different products.

Yes...Heroquest Glorantha...in Usa the owner is Moon Design Publishing...company that has had to deal with the closure of Kickstarter.
I know they're two different products...but it was not so, for the first KS.

I am tempted, but it looks like you have to have a facebook account to back them.  Which I don't, and to be honest I don't really want one.

You don't need facebook, but you'll need to create an account for Lazanos or whatever it's called.  I could tell they were losing steam toward the end when the perks started becoming a bit more mundane - I do hope the final is rather awesome...

As it stands now, assuming it shows up, I'm pretty stoked with the outcome.  Pretty good amount of stuff for the money.  Now the joy of watching miniature previews for the next 10 months!

Final Box Count (Pending final unlock)

Box Contents
46 Miniatures (worth noting that each Goblin, Orc, etc. is a different pose - be curious to see how different...)
46 Terrain pieces (and 35 terrain markers also in resin - stairs, traps etc.)
86 Cards

Unlocked
+39 Miniatures (including the "Great Wyrm" which takes up 6 spaces!)
+31 Terrain pieces
+97 additional Cards

Total
-85 Miniatures
-87 Terrain pieces
-183 Cards

Not bad for $195.00 USD, especially when you consider that you get the store-coupon to recoup some of your shipping costs.

What are the odds of the minis being anywhere near as good as the 3D concepts....are there any images of finished models yet?
