Happy Orktober (pic. Heavy!!)
« on: 06 October 2013, 03:44:46 PM »
To celebrate that the calender once again shows Orktober. I dug out all my Epic Orks for a photo session.
Here they are - Waaagh Nuglug.

Evil Suns boyz deploy from a Landa.

Bad Moon armour advancing.

A small Snakebites warband guards the rear.

Da Green Baron leading a wing of fighta-bommers take down a Warlord Titan.

Warboss Nuglugs pride and joy - The Mega Gargant Gitgrinda

Big Mek Nugmek leads the cult of speed on the left flank.

The Gargant mob advances up the middle.

The Goofs hold the right flank.

Blood axe warband advancing.

Stormboyz hold the ridge and defend the Orkbital kannon.

Waaagh!

Warboss Nuglug himself - leading his warband of Bad Moons.

Now it is your turn! I showed you mine now show me yours. Come celebrate Orktober by showing of all the different kinds of Orks you have.

Yay! Never got into epic, but some marvellous designs there: the speedsters, the tinbots, battlewagon/rhino mash-ups.
nice one!

Thank you everyone.

Now let see your orks. Let's see how manny orks (of any kind) we can cram into one thread this Orktober.

Great stuff!! I am afraid I don't have any orks painted at all, so my ork pictures will have to wait.

Truly epic.  :o

Another advantage of smaller scale figs: massive armies on the table.

Excellent in every way.

There is a lot of inspiration there for my highly unpainted Orks.

That orbital kannon is brilliant. Consider it stolen.

I miss Epic, especially the old days playing " Space Marine" with my friends in a cold unfinished basement in the middle of winter.

Also, LA should actually have an official ORKTOBER thread every October.   ;)

Brilliant, and nostalgic stuff - even the relatively recent Landa seems old school these days. This was one of my favourites, as the name in Maltese very appropriately means 'tin can', an apt way of describing an Ork lander.  :D

Love the just-posted classic 28mm ork - they were more fun in those days.  :D

COntinuing with (fewer) Epic orks:

An Orkdinatus:

Grim tanks:

Megabomma

There are others, but I have to dig up the pics.
