A bit of a worry as all the contact information remains the same. Oh well.

In view of the massive debt it seems unlikely the owners remain the same though...

Bankrupcy is no laughing matter and with those debts will be taken seriously by the powers that be. The couple in theory could be held personally liable and lose everything eg house, car, house contents.

Having the company come back so soon might be a means to some debt repayments.

People really should have checked him out prior to loaning him money in a lot more detail.

Perception (rotarian and dentist) is a risky thing ...

As Dolmot said, the paperwork says the owners are different. If I were a creditor, however, I might just want to dig a little deeper and make sure the theory and the practice match up.

Of course, if I were a creditor I might also be looking to invest in a Peruvian silver mine, Nigerian lottery fees, etc..etc..

I believe that Dave Bailey is one of the current Skytrex employees, so I am assuming he is buying it out and keeping it in the same place.

The whole shift in owners to a former employee sounds like a con for sure...how did an x-employee come up with the money to buy back the business...unless of course the administrators decided it was better to restart the business in hopes of getting some money back then just let it collapse entirely.

The seriousness of the situation being undisputed, I must strongly remind everyone involved to watch their wording and not make inappropriate and potentially legally liable statements unless backed up by established fact.

I second that.

It is not uncommon for management or employees to get together to buy the assets of a business they previously worked for.  Dave knows the business very well and therefore has a good chance of getting it back on its feet.

Personally I wish him luck
