Air power 1/48 who maes decent models

Hey guys just building up my air assets for 28mm war gaming. Not going to get that any but need a couple hueys , a cobra, chinook and Mabey a Blackhawk who makes good 1/48 scale helicopters that are good n not that complex?

Was going to cop out n get flames of war n to hell with scale but want to go 1/48 any help appreciated.

Check out 'New Ray' toys on ebay; they do a few 1/48 Die-cast choppers; including Blackhawks, Seahawks, Apaches, Seaknights and Chinooks.

I've got a few and they're OK.

I second that, the New Ray models are very good value for money. Just one word of advice, the models are not consistent in size, the Chinook and Black hawk are 1/60, the CH-46 is 1/55, the Dauphin is 1/48 etc. They all look good against 28mm figures. Just be aware that some models come in different sizes. They do a UH-1 N that comes in at least three scales 1/48 and tow smaller ( much smaller versions) Always check if buying online. They also don't make a Cobra.

Personally if it's not likely to land on the table like a jet or an attack helicopter I go for 1/72 and the range of models is much greater but that's a personal choice.
